Hot off the presses: PHE Renewed For Another 90 Days!
Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra, announced that he has renewed the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency declaration. This renewal is effective October 18, 2021 and will extend current Public Health Emergency flexibility another 90 days from that date, to January 16, 2022.
This means that the current rules and guidelines regarding reporting virtual visits, telephone management and other telehealth benefits that were relaxed during the PHE will remain in effect through the 16th of January.
